The Software Distribution Challenge in an AI-Assisted World
A strategic investigation into post-AI software distribution bottlenecks, crowded app marketplaces, and authentic channel creation.
What Has Changed: AI-assisted coding tools have dramatically reduced the cost and time required to build working software. Where a minimum viable product previously required six months and a dedicated engineering team, a solo builder can now launch in weeks.
The Real Challenge: Because it has become so easy to build software, the market is seeing an explosion of new tools. The hardest part is no longer building the product; it is distribution, attention, and trust. Getting discovered in crowded app stores has become the single biggest hurdle for new software.
Current Exploration: I am actively researching and testing practical ways to help small software products reach real customers: automated SEO pages, connecting with merchant communities, location-based pricing (the thesis behind Lokally), and building tools directly into platforms people already use every day.
